Fields of application

ROCK Foam 230 is a foaming agent with an anti-abrasion polymer specially designed to reduce wear to the cutting tools of tunnel boring machines. Furthermore, the product decreases dust formation during excavation. Effective ground treatment significantly improves the machine performance and enhances control of the soil flow through the screw conveyor.

ROCK Foam 230 is able to contribute to better advance rates, even in rocky grounds, or under other critical geological conditions.
The carefully developed additive allows the production of stable, consistent foam which is generally able to provide the following benefits:
