Fields of application

PANTARHIT^® RSM 300 is a high performance admixture especially designed for conditioning annular grout mixes injected behind the segmental concrete lining of TBM constructions. PANTARHIT^® RSM 300 combines the required demands of conditioning annual grout in one product: it retards the setting time, plasticizes the mix and stabilises it. The conditioning admixture provides the following benefits:
>  Allows purposeful extension of workability time
>  Long workability maintenance
>  Provides low viscosity
>  Generates good pumping abilities
>  Stabilises the grout
>  Reduces bleeding
>  Extends storability in pumping lines and grout agitator tanks on the TBM
>  Minimizes risks of choking pipelines and grout cars

The application of PANTARHIT^® RSM 300 enables increasing the compressive, tensile and flexural strength of annular grout mixes. PANTARHIT^® RSM 300 provides the ability to control the hydration process over several days. This ability allows flexible handling with construction halts and time schedule changes.

Working principle

PANTARHIT^® RSM 300 is the first component of Ha-Be’s two component hydration control system. In order to create a high performing grouting, it is recommended to use PANTARHIT^® RSM 300 in combination with one of the PANTAQUICK RSM accelerators. The two component system allows the production of durable, powerful and stable grouting perfectly geared to the needs of TBM constructions.
